PROFILE

JC. (Hon.) Abdulhamid Mustapha popularly known as Al – Chemist was born into the family of Alhaji Mustapha Zakariyah and Hajia Khadijah Muhammad Mustapha on Friday 13th November, 1980’s. He is an indigene of Kwara state (State of harmony), Offa Local government  (Home of sweet potatoes) to be precise but born and brought up in Sokoto (The seat of the caliphate).

He started his nursery education at tender care nursery and primary school in 1991, he proceeded to Federal Staff primary school in 1992 and later left for Usmanu Danfodiyo University Model primary school in the year 1994 where he obtained his primary school leaving certificate, in the year 2000 he proceeded to Nagarta College Sokoto where he obtained his Junior secondary school certificate and in the year 2004 he joined Unity comprehensive school where he
also obtained the Senior school leaving certificate.

Jc. (Hon.) Abdulhamid Mustapha proceeded to Shehu shagari college of Education in the year 2006 where he obtain his Nigerian certificate in Education (Islamic studies/primary education studies, during his NCE Years he held the post of the Secretary General of the National Association of Primary Education and Islamic Students an association founded by five members including the Honourable in question. In the year 2007 he joined the Usmanu Danfodiyo University School of Matriculation Studies and in the Year 2008 while in his final year at the college of education secured admission into the most peaceful university, Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto to study Bsc.Ed Chemistry which he runs simultaneously while in level one.

Hon. Abdulhamid was introduced to Junior chamber international by his elder brother the then Director of publicity Jc (Hon.) Abdullahi Mustapha  in the year 2009 during the tenure of Jc. Bamidele Jamiu, he observed for good seven month and was  inducted on 20th Dec, 2009 after which he assume the office of the Local organization secretary. The gentle man
in the quest to serve  humanity in addition to the office of Local organization’s secretary assume other office in
the 2009/2010 session  among which include Auditor general of offa student union a local chapter of National Association of Kwara state students, the Editor in chief of Gamji press board of the National Association of Campus journalist, the chairman media and publicity Students Representative  Assembly of the Students Union Government, Class representative of his class and later to all education sciences with the exception education mathematics, through out his staying in these offices he never for a day seize to let people see the beauty of JCI. And this gentleman in the 2010/2011 academic session he became the secretary of caretaker committee of NACJ, Editor in chief of Gamji press board, secretary NACJ – WEEK planning committee, Chairman Excursion committee as well as the Chairman electoral committee Nacj – Udus, Member Electoral Committee National Association Of Kwara state, and above all the 28th Local Organization’s president of Junior Chamber International, Usman Danfodiyo University, Sokoto.

Hon. Abdulhamid Mustapha is always committed to his duty in any office he ever find himself and that was
good to earn him the NACJ award of “the most active caretaker committee member of the year” during the NACJ – WEEK 2011, and awarded certificate of merit as the most active member of the offa students union. Today he is an achiever in the campus as all these extra curricular does not stop him from excelling in his academic. Fellow Jaycees, well wishers of Junior Chamber International, Friends and guest in our midst, I present to you JC. (Hon. ) Abdulhamid Mustapha the 28th Local organization’s president of JCI – UDUS and the immediate past president as well as an alumnus of JCI – UDUS. This gentle man have obtained some awards during his university years.
